Americans Acquire Dalton Yorke From Prince Albert

KENNEWICK, WA – Tri-City Americans’ Governor/General Manager Bob Tory announced today the team has acquired the rights to 20-year-old defenseman Dalton Yorke (6’3, 213) from the Prince Albert Raiders in exchange for the Americans 3rd round draft pick in today’s WHL bantam draft.


Yorke, a native of Maple Ridge, B.C. has played three seasons in the WHL (for Kelowna and Prince Albert) and has appeared in 166 games, scoring 3 goals, 25 points and amassed 269 penalty minutes.


“Dalton is a solid stay at home defenseman,” said Tory. “He is a character player that has a physical presence and provides leadership. We are excited to add Dalton to our hockey club.
