Americans double up Royals with 6-3 victory

The Americans and the Victoria Royals met tonight for the fourth and final time this season.

Royals, Phillip Schultz, opened the scoring early in the first period at 0:55.

Americans had no plans in falling behind. Paycen Bjorklund, tied the game at 4:12.

The Royals steal the lead right after that with Carson Millers goal, 2-1.

The Tri-City Americans weren’t going to end the first period on a quiet note. Dom Schmiemann tied the game up once again at 17:10.

Riley Sawchuk and Sasha Mutala both scored in the second period along with Royals D-Jay Jerome giving the AMS their first lead of the night, 4-3.

Sawhcuck lands the insurance power play goal in the third followed by Mitchell Brown’s empty net goal.

Fast intense and gritty.
