AMERICANS FALL 3-1 IN THE SECOND GAME AGAINST EVERETT

KENNEWICK, WA – The Americans were unable to get their first win on the road in a tightly contested second game against the Everett Silvertips.

In a very fast first period, the Americans were able to score the lone goal. Maxwell James would take a very long pass from Juuso Valimaki.

In the second, Everett would get the single score on the power play from Dominic Zwerger, the former Spokane Chief.

We would then go to the third where we had a drawn out battle with the Tips getting their game winner on the rebound of a tipped shot from Graham Miller. Noah Juulsen would net one a few minutes later on the empty net to seal the deal.

The Ams play the Silvertips again on Friday in the deciding game of their mini 3-game series. After that, they back home on Saturday to take on the Lethbridge Hurricanes.
