Kadlec Book and Food Drive; KNDU Coats For Kids

The Tri-City Americans are hosting the first of five Kadlec Regional Medical Center Book and Food Drives this Friday, November 16th vs. Kelowna. Fans are encouraged to bring pre-packaged non-perishable food items, as well as new or gently used children’s books to the game to the donation tables behind Sections D & R. Proceeds will benefit The Children’s Reading Foundation of the Mid-Columbia and 2nd Harvest Tri-Cities. To reward your generosity, all donors will be entered to win an 8GB NOOK Color Tablet for every item they donate that night, courtesy of Kadlec Regional Medical Center. The winner will be announced during the third period. And mark your calendars for the remaining 2012-13 monthly Kadlec Regional Medical Center Book and Food Drives this season, with each drive providing another chance for donors to win a free NOOK Color Tablet. 


2012-13 Food/Book Drive Dates:

–          Friday, November 16 vs. Kelowna

–          Tuesday, December 11 vs. Everett

–          Friday, January 18 vs. Kamloops

–          Friday, February 8 vs. Victoria

–          Friday, March 8 vs. Kootenay


Also, on Saturday, November 17th, KNDU and the Tri-City Americans are teaming up to host Coats for Kids Night. Fans are encouraged to bring their donation of new and gently used children’s clothing to help local children in need of warm coats and winter wear.  Fans who donate a coat will receive a $5 ticket discount on regularly priced adult admission at the Toyota Center box office, some restrictions apply.
