Americans Set to Host 2012 Red Lion Hotels Pre-Season Tournament

KENNEWICK, WA – The Tri-City Americans are, once again, proud to host the Red Lion Hotels Pre-Season Tournament.  The three-day tournament will be played at the Toyota Center in Kennewick from Thursday, September 6 through Saturday, September 8.  This year's tournament will feature the host Americans, their four U.S. Division rivals (Everett, Portland, Seattle and Spokane) and the Central Division’s Kootenay Ice.

2012-13 Americans Season Ticket Holders will receive admission to the following games FREE*:
- Thursday, Sept. 6, vs. the Kootenay Ice
- Friday, Sept. 7, vs. the Portland Winterhawks
- Saturday, Sept. 8, vs. the Spokane Chiefs
*if purchased by 09/06/12

Pricing for the 2012 Red Lion Pre-Season Tournament is as follows…

2012-13 Americans Season Ticket Holder Exclusive Packages:
Includes the 4 non-Americans games not included with Season Ticket Packages
- All Ages: $20.00

Full 7-Game Tournament Packages:
- Adult/Senior (ages 20+): $49.00
- Youth/Student (ages 3-19): $35.00

Tournament Walk-up:
- Adult/Senior (ages 20+): $10.00
- Student (ages 10-19): $7.00
- Youth (ages 3-9): $5.00

Tournament packages can be purchased through the Americans’ office by calling (509) 736-0606 or via e-mail at info@amshockey.com.  Single game tickets for the tournament are on sale now through all Ticketmaster outlets, including the Toyota Center box office, all Fred Meyer locations or online at www.ticketmaster.com.

Fans traveling from out of town can get a special Tri-City Americans rate at the Red Lion Hotel-Columbia Center, located just two blocks from the Toyota Center.  Call the Red Lion Hotel for reservations directly at 509.783.0611.  Please ask for the “special Americans rate.”
