Americans set to host annual CH2M Military Appreciation Night

KENNEWICK, WA – Join the Tri-City Americans on Friday, January 19th, when they take on the Brandon Wheat Kings, for CH2M Military Appreciation Night. The game will be presented by CH2M, Newstalk 870 KFLD, KEPR-TV, and the Tri-City Herald.

The Americans will be wearing limited-edition military-themed jerseys in honor of veterans and active military. This year’s design features the B17 Bomber, A Day’s Pay. Hanford workers donated a full day’s pay collecting nearly $300,000.00 to buy a B-17 Bomber to give to the Army Air Force. All jerseys will be auctioned off following the game on the Americans’ official auction website, AmsHockeyAuctions.com

Tri-City Military Vehicle Club will have military vehicles on display in front of the Toyota Center. There will be a salute to each of the five branches of the military during the game and a silent auction behind section J, which will benefit the Tri-City Players’ Education Fund.

Veterans and Active Military personnel can get discounted tickets to the game simply by showing their Active Military or Veteran ID card at the Toyota Center Box Office.

It’s also a Tri-City Herald Family Friday, presented by KEPR-TV, clip out the coupon in Thursday or Friday’s edition of the Tri-City Herald or online at TriCityHerald.com to receive 4 tickets for just $64! If you have a group of 10 or more going to the game, you can save money by contacting the Americans’ office at (509) 736-0606 and arranging a Group Night.
