Come join us at the Toyota Center on Saturday, March 15th, when the Tri-City Americans host their 6th annual Sterling Bank Go Green for MDA Night game, presented by SunWest Sportswear, U.S. Linen & Uniform, 102.7 KORD, KVEW-TV and MOM Magazine. The Americans will take on the rival Spokane Chiefs, with a variety of fundraising activities going on throughout the game to benefit the Inland Northwest Chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Activities that will be going on during the night include:
- Green T-shirt Sales
- Autographed Green Puck Sales
- MDA Shamrock Sales
- Silent Auction
- Local Firefighter’s ‘Fill The Boot’
Green short-sleeve T-shirts will be available to purchase that night for a suggested donation of $7.00, courtesy of SunWest Sportswear and U.S. Linen & Uniform. There will also be a large silent auction throughout the Toyota Center concourse featuring gift baskets, Americans memorabilia and autographed green Go Green for MDA Night pucks.
Additionally, the annual MDA Shamrock campaign will be active on the Toyota Center concourse, with fans able to purchase $1.00, $5.00 and $10.00 Green, Silver and Gold Shamrocks to adorn the Toyota Center walls. Local firefighters will also be outside the Toyota Center, asking fans to help ‘Fill The Boot.’
It’s another Jack in the Box Rock the Rink Saturday Night, with Teen (10-19) ticket discounts available at the Toyota Center box office, simply by showing a valid student card! And, if you have a group of 10 or more going to the game, you can save your group some money by contacting the Americans’ offices at (509) 736-0606 and arranging a Group Night.

Tri-City is 1-4 all-time on Go Green for MDA Night, with the Chiefs making their sixth straight appearance in the event. The Americans dropped a 3-2 decision in last season’s Go Green for MDA Night. Go Green for MDA Night has raised $45,963 in the five-year history of the event and has raised more than $10,000 in donations in two of the last three seasons, including 2010-11 season’s record high of $13,095.
