KENNEWICK, WA – Tri-City Americans Governor/General Manager Bob Tory, in conjunction with USA Hockey, announced today that goaltender, Evan Sarthou, has been selected to participate in the Team USA training camp for the 2017 World Junior Hockey Championship. The 2017 IIHF World Junior Championships will be held in Toronto, ON and Montreal, QC from Dec. 26, 2016 – Jan. 5, 2017 this year.

“This is a tremendous honor for Evan, one he has earned by his play over the last three seasons,” Tory said. “We wish him nothing but the best in his quest to represent his country in this prestigious tournament.

Sarthou, a 6’1 180-lb netminder from Black Diamond, WA, just finished his third season with the Americans, appearing in 60 games and collecting a 26-28-0-2 record, along with a 3.46 goals against average and a 0.888 save percentage.
