The weather is heating up in Kennewick and so are the offseason adventures. We checked in with our returning players to find out what they’re up to this summer and how they’re preparing for the upcoming season. Describe your offseason training routine:
I work out five days a week in the gym. Twice a week I do on-ice work.
Which skills are you focused on improving?
I’ve been focusing on my stickhandling this summer and strengthening my wrist after injuring it last season.
Have you spent time with any of your Americans teammates over the offseason?
I spent time with some teammates when they visited Alberta for the Calgary Stampede.
What has been the highlight of your summer so far?
The highlight of my summer was turning 18 and spending time with my buddies.
Looking back at the Americans 2017-18 season, what was your favorite moment?
Looking back at the season my favourite moment was playing in Calgary in front of my friends and family.
What are you most looking forward to about returning to Tri-City in August?
I’m most looking forward to seeing the guys and my billets again.
Favorite song of the summer?
My favourite song of the summer right now is Anthem by Brett Kissel.
Fun fact: Liam’s favorite WHL team to play against is the Kelowna Rockets.
