Tri-City Herald: Ams’ Comrie a big hit in food groups

By Annie Fowler | Tri-City Herald

Last week, Eric Comrie was selected to play in the Subway Series. Tuesday, the Tri-City Americans goaltender earned a spot on specially marked boxes of Post breakfast cereal. All he needs is a dinner sponsor for a hat trick.

“They asked me to be a part of that this summer,” Comrie said of Post. “They sent me a sheet and I signed it. I was excited to be a part of that and represent the Tri-City Americans.”

According to a joint news release, Post Foods Canada and the Canadian Hockey League announced a promotion that will bring hockey stars from the Western Hockey League, Ontario Hockey League and the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League to breakfast tables across Canada.

The limited edition boxes will not be available in the United States.
