NHL Central Scouting released its November Preliminary Players to watch list, with four Tri-City Americans making the list.
Defenseman Brandon Carlo, Parker Wotherspoon and Brendan O’Reilly along with forward Vladislav Lukin were the four players to make the list. Carlo is rated as an ‘A’ prospect, making him a potential first round draft pick candidate. He has a goal, 10 points and +2 rating in 23 games this season.
Wotherspoon received a ‘B’ rating, which means he is a potential second or third round draft pick. The Surrey, B.C. native has six goals, 14 points and a +5 rating in 23 games this season.
O’Reilly and Lukin were identified as ‘C’ prospects, meaning they are fourth, fifth or sixth round draft pick candidates. Lukin has four goals and six points in 21 games this season while O’Reilly has no points and a -3 rating in nine game played this season.
The list comprised of 59 WHL players, with eight players earning an ‘A’ rating and 11 players earning a ‘B’ rating.
