Special teams dominance leads to big win over Red Deer; 8-4

The Ams jumped out to a 4-0 lead at the end of the first and upped it to 6-0 midway through the second. However, the Rebels wouldn’t go down without a fight, scoring 4 unanswered before two final goals by the Americans quelled them. The boys scored 2 Power Play and 2 Shorthanded goals tonight with 5 separate players earning 2 or more points on the night.

Seattle comes to town on Friday as the Americans look to score their first win of the season over the TBirds.
