Americans Prospect Geekie Named First Team All-Star

The Tri-City Americans congratulate prospect Morgan Geekie on being named to the First-Team All-Stars in the Manitoba AAA Midget Hockey League.

Geekie, a native of Strathclair, MB, is currently second in the league with 44 points in 29 games played for the Yellowhead Chiefs. The 6’1, 164 pound center has scored 18 goals, 26 assists and 20 penalty minutes.

In the two games in Prince George, Geekie played in both games and recorded an assist on the Americans first goal in Wednesday’s 5-3 win against the Cougars. He played in one game for the Americans during the 2013-14 season, scoring a goal.
