Americans defeat Silvertips in OT thriller

The Tri-City Americans returned home to battle out game 3 against the Everett Silvertips tonight. The Silvertips went into this game leading the seven game series 2-0, but that did not stop the AMS fans from showing up to cheer on the boys to tonight’s victory.

There were only 5 total goals tonight. Three came from the Americans.

Silvertips, Martin Fasko-Rudas, put himself up on the board first in the first at 17:35.

The Americans, Samuel Stewart, responds with the tying goal in the second at 16:54.

Silvertips, Bryce Kindopp, took the lead once again at 19:51.

AMS, Nolan Yaremko, lands a goal in the third at 2:16 for the second tie of the night that lead to overtime.

Ultimately, Parker AuCoin scored the overtime game winner.

Shots: 31-41 EVT.

Final score: 3-2 EVT.

Moving on to game 4 (ticket ‘B’)  tomorrow here at the Toyota Center once again at 7:05 p.m. Tickets are available at the Toyota Center Box Office.
