Defenseman Lukas Dragicevic named to 2022-23 WHL U.S. Division First All-Star Team

Calgary, Alta. – The Western Hockey League announced today that Americans defenseman Lukas Dragicevic has been named to the 2022-23 WHL U.S. Division First All-Star Team.

Dragicevic, from Richmond, B.C., had a historic second season with the Americans, finishing fourth amongst all WHL defensemen with 75 points (15-60-75). His 75 points led all 2005-born defensemen in the Canadian Hockey League.

From October 14th to December 30th, Dragicevic authored a 27-game point streak, the longest in Americans franchise history, racking up 37 points (7-30-37) over those 27 games.

He was ranked 12th amongst North American Skaters for the 2023 NHL Draft by NHL Central Scouting in their midterm rankings, released on January 13th.

Dragicevic competed at the 2023 CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game in January, earning a victory with Team White and recording one assist.
