Mutala Signs ATO With Avalanche AHL Affiliate

KENNEWICK, WA – Tri-City Americans forward Sasha Mutala has signed an amateur tryout agreement today with the Colorado Eagles, AHL affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche, for the team’s upcoming camp.

The six-foot and 200-pound forward was selected by the Avalanche 140th overall in the 2019 NHL Draft and has spent all three years of his WHL career with the Americans. During the 2019-20 season, Mutala led Tri-City in scoring with 28 goals and 39 assists in 62 games.

Mutala will join the Eagles for their training camp which begins on Monday, February 25th. He will then return to Tri-City and join the Americans for the 2020-21 WHL season.
