The Tri-City Americans will faceoff against the Everett Silvertips tonight at the Toyota Center in a battle for fourth place in the Western Conference. Tri-City and Everett each have 45 points in the playoff standings with the Americans having two games in hand. The winner of tonight’s game will move into sole possession of fourth place.
Tri-City has earned a point in each of their last eight games (5-0-3-0) while the Silvertips are on a one-game losing trend after falling to Seattle 6-2 last Saturday.
The Americans most recently played a pair of games in Kamloops, coming home with three points after an 8-2 victory on Friday and a 6-5 overtime loss on Saturday against the Blazers.
The Ams are 2-3-1-0 against Everett so far this season. They last faced each other on December 27th at the Toyota Center when the Americans took a 5-2 victory. Everett’s Austin Roest lead the head-to-head series with ten points (two goals, eight assists). For the Ams, Parker Bell has been their best player against the Silvertips with five goals and two assists.
Americans defenseman Lukas Dragicevic returns from the 2023 Kubota CHL / NHL Top Prospects Game. The 2023 NHL Draft prospect earned a victory with Team White and recorded one assist in the game on Wednesday.
