Preview: Americans to wrap up 3-in-3 weekend in Everett

The Americans and Silvertips will face each other today for the second time this weekend. Tri-City took a 2-1 victory on Friday to pass the Silvertips for fourth in the Western Conference standings.
The Ams are 3-3-1-0 against Everett so far this season, tonight will be the eighth meeting between the two teams in their nine-game season series. Both teams won last night as the Americans defeated Spokane in Tri-City and Everett downed the Swift Current Broncos in overtime.
Tri-City has struggled on the road this year, but the Ams have turned their luck around since the trade deadline. Over their last four road games, the Ams are 2-0-2-0.
The Ams picked up a 6-2 victory over the Spokane Chiefs last night at the Toyota Center. They now have points in their last ten games (7-0-3- 0).
Lukas Dragicevic opened scoring for the Ams for the second straight night. HE went on to add another goal and assist for his third 3+ point night of the season. The 2023 NHL Draft prospect is on a five-game point streak with four goals and six assists over that period. Deagan McMillan, Jalen Luypen, Ethan Ernst, and Marc Lajoie also scored for the Americans. Luypen is on a six game point streak with two goal and seven assists over that period. Tomas Suchanek played the full game in net and turned aside 34 of 36 shots faced. Tri-City was 3/4 on the power play and 5/7 on the penalty kill.
